SEARLE ASSIGNMENT

So all the development artists at Dreamworks have been teaching a character design workshop at the studio. The latest assignment we gave the class was to start designing on three films as animated features-Flash Gordon, Conan the Barbarian, and the Three Musketeers, and the restriction is that it all has to be done in the style of RONALD SEARLE! Whenever we give an assignment we do it as well, So here's my Conan done in mid sixties Searle style.

(And more Holiday art is on the way.)

This is possibly the coolest, strongest drawing. Ever.

Nice lines on him, too!

Ohhh, if only you had used a late 60's Searle style. But EARLY to MID-60's?!! What were you thinking? :)

Maybe you can redeem yourself by drawing him punching a camel in the Searle style from December 14th, 1968.

(Just joshing you, this piece is awsome!!!!)

Christ almighty-- ya nailed it!

....and in the vein of Balistreri's comment: How 'bout you do a Searle-style GRACE JONES??? Sick!

How very Searle of you!

I'm a fan of both your work and his, so this assignment is a treat for me.

Hey man

Yeah it was great seeing you and Shannon. I've got a couple things brewing there so I may be around again, they sound pretty promising. I'll keep you updated.

Also Ben
"(Just joshing you"
I find that offensive.

First of all, this sketch is friggin badass, you're like an artistic chameleon, it's freaky.

Secondly, Gurney is my hero, man! I've been corresponding with him since CalArts. He wanted to visit Pixar, but the HR people said there wasn't enough interest to pay for a lecture (lame!). I stopped by the book store he was lecturing at, though, and gave him a Ratatouille 'art of' book. I'll post my picture with him soon. The guy is brilliant. I'm glad you met him man, I was starting to think I was the only one who recognized the power. Did you hear about his fireman friend? Good stuff!

Anyway err on abercrombie Outlet the side of caution and choose the abercrombie and fitch larger size. If the abercrombie sale size 20 blouse is too big, but abercrombie & fitch the size 18 is too small, choose abercrombie the larger blouse. This will enable you to have it fitted. A seamstress or tailor abercrombie uk can't do anything with a garment that's too small abercrombie london -- he or she can, however, tailor a garment abercrombie and Fitch Polo that's too big to fit you to a T.Most plus size abercrombie Polos women's clothing will fail to fit one particular part of her body.
