QUICK SANTA STUDY

Merry Christmas everybody! This is a very quick, unfinished study of Santa with his list bearing elf (I just thought he would have one).I also wanted to try something new with a christmas elf and make him look more mythological in contrast to a human Santa. I'm not sure what the story could be here because it was just a fast flow of consciousness piece done last night. I really love Christmas and holiday art and wanted to do something fun. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

this is beautiful! i really love how they are each sunk into the snow a different amount for their size. i wouldn't have been so perceptive and just drawn them floating on top of it somehow not having any weight going into it. Frame it!!! :)

Very nice! Great details like the fuzzy white fur on Santa and his nose texture. :) I'm a big fan of Christmas too! You've inspired me to try something!

My favorite thing about it is the creepy looking elf. It's nice to know Santa is an unbiased employer. ;)

S!

nice man. haha, i have your story for you.

"that night as santa geared up for his trip he decided to take the only elf who wasnt buzzed from all the spiked eggnog. but on his trip he realized that not only was his helper elf the one who spiked the eggnog, but he was an undercover creepy crawler goblin from the banished land called Xmas and he brought along his list of naughty kids and burned santas nice kids list."

Hey Shane!

We have to do the Dreamworks free lunch soon! I'm supposed to meet with some director fellas over there this month-- let's get some FOOOD.

Oh yeah, nice illustration of course. And the nose was a result of a surfboard meeting my face.

Wassup dude. I saw the commercial you did for laika on the big screen. Its pretty sweet. I am totally jealous that you get to design for that commercial. How do you find time to do all this stuff!? You are the busiest multi-tasker I know. And a damn good one too.

The more I think of Santa and his reindeers and elves, the creepier they seem to me. Your goblin-elf fits perfectly with that notion. Very cool piece, especially considering it was a quick one!

SAMANTHA- I'm glad you like it, and yeah Maybe one day I'll have time to add true color. Happy Holidays.

MAARTIN RIJS- Thanks for the regular visits, and thank you for the kind words!

DAVE- Thanks! Merry Christmas.

MUKPUDDY- Thank you again, and I LOVED the "Caravan of Courage" strip so much! Happy Holidays.

APRIL- I'm happy you like it and I'm glad it gave you any Christmasy feel. Happy Holidays and thank you!

MONKEYFEATHER- Thank you so much man. Merry Christmas!

LENNARD-There is definately contrast but they are in the same style. Santa is a human and an elf is not. I really wanted this elf to look mythalogical and not like a small human in a costume.Jennifer Connelly doesn't look anything like the trolls and creatures she encounters in Labrynth,(except for David bowie who sucks because he is not a cool puppet), and Jen doesn't look like the Mystics or Skeksis in the Dark Crystal.Heck Gollum doesn't look like Legolas in ANY version of LOTR. I'm just a big nerd that wanted to try something different with how a christmas elf was conceived. I thaught theire contrast would make the elf seem more fanciful. Maybe not. But Thanks man, and Happy Holidays!

PUMML- Yeah its tottaly dreepy, A bunch of elved working for santa.I'm glad you like it.

BOBBY- Thank you very much, Merry Christmas!

LIBRA BEAR- Merry Christmas. And Happy New year.

Happy Holidays Everyone! And I love visiting all of your blogs!

Anyway err on abercrombie Outlet the side of caution and choose the abercrombie and fitch larger size. If the abercrombie sale size 20 blouse is too big, but abercrombie & fitch the size 18 is too small, choose abercrombie the larger blouse. This will enable you to have it fitted. A seamstress or tailor abercrombie uk can't do anything with a garment that's too small abercrombie london -- he or she can, however, tailor a garment abercrombie and Fitch Polo that's too big to fit you to a T.Most plus size abercrombie Polos women's clothing will fail to fit one particular part of her body.
