HALLOWEEN Cal Arts workshop (prt 1)
Last year around this time,Shannon Tindle and myself taught a character design workshop at Cal Arts. It being the Halloween season, the assignment we gave the students was to design a vampire in several different styles: One in the Style of Ronald Searle, One in the style of Al Hirschfeild, One in the style of Shrek, and one in whatever style they wished. As usual Shannon and myself tackled the assignment as well. Below are my "Searle" vampires from that workshop. (I couldn't do just one.) More to come.

Hat’s off. Well done, as we know that “hard work always pays off”, after a long struggle with sincere effort it’s done.
LOVE IT
great designs!
Thanks guys. It is rare nowadays that I have anything that I can legally post on the blog. And I have had almost no time to do personal work that I can post for the past year or so. I have been holding onto these Vampires since last year. I'll try to find some time to do more personal work over the holiday seasons though and start posting them. The holidays always inspire something.
